Junior Buyer

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Junior Buyer to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Foodbuy on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Daily liaison with Supply Chain, Foodbuy, Avanti (props and ops), suppliers, and third parties’ route to market.
• Manage day to day strategy and relationships
• Liaison point between supplier and client
• Ensure all pricing and descriptions are correct

Our ideal Junior Buyer will:

• MUST have Food and beverage buying experience
• Budgeting and true cost negotiations
• Experience with building and developing relationships with clients and suppliers
• Experience creating strategy and business plans
• Hold strong commercial acumen
• Strong Microsoft Excel capability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Buying experience with the ability to manage supplier relationships at all levels
