Junior CAD Technician

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This position will play a key role in the Design & Build Department for the business. Based in our Colchester head office, the role will include space planning and design of such spaces as marketing suites, showhomes, communal areas and concierge foyers.

About You & Key Skills required

• Self-motivated and driven
• Experience working with CAD in the same or similar position
• Experience in Solidworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch up / 3DS & MS Office
• Experience in technical / fabrication drawings for signage and exhibition work would be a bonus but not essential.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Space planning and design of spaces such as marketing suites, showhomes, communal areas and concierge foyers
• Working within Design & Build team to create exceptional drawings using CAD and other software.
• Drawings will include general arrangement plans, sections, elevations, M&E drawings and FF& Schedules
• Technical and fabrication drawings for bespoke furniture designs and signage products
• Work closely with the Design & Build team to ensure work is executed to an exceptional standard at all times
