Rocksteady Studios is an award-winning, critically acclaimed video game developer. Founded in 2004, we are home to the widely celebrated Batman: Arkham series of games. Our philosophy for game development is all about treating people well to create quality entertainment that stands the test of time. We’re a one-project studio that built our success by combining genre-defining gameplay and character-driven cinematic narrative with AAA production values. Born in the heart of London, our multicultural team takes inspiration from the culture and history of our home in one of the most diverse cities in the world.

We are looking for a talented Junior Capture Assistant (Fixed Term Contract) to come and wow us with exciting and engaging gameplay capture. As part of the marketing team the Junior Capture Assistant will be coordinating with both in-house and external teams to show off the city of Metropolis, its enemies and its unlikely heroes to their full potential.

This role will be directly involved in creating world-class trailers, social media content, and many other public facing assets for our players. This role will also offer additional opportunities to learn, including getting hands on with the Unreal Engine, industry standard collaboration tools, and storytelling techniques.

Your New Role...

• Capturing gameplay and screenshots for use in internal and external assets
• Working with the Marketing team on turning scripts and briefs into exciting in-game capture
• Coordinating with our Creative Services Producer and external partners on capture and asset requests and assisting them and the with capture tools
• Managing deployment of game software
• Setting up and maintaining hardware needed for gameplay capture
• Creating and managing pipelines to ensure assets are delivered efficiently and on-time

Your Role Accountabilities…

• Demonstrable experience capturing high quality, exciting gameplay
• Knowledge of professional game capture techniques
• The ability to play fast-paced games to a high level of skill

Qualifications & Experience…

• Knowledge of using Unreal Engine
• A keen creative eye for story telling
• Video editing experience (Adobe Premiere Pro)
