Junior Graphic / Website Designer

This Junior Graphic/Website Designer(s) position is being offered as full time Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with an instant start available.

Due to a period of further growth, in all departments of the business, we are seeking an individual(s) to join our fantastic team. Graphic design skills are essential and some website design experience will be beneficial to the role.

The successful candidate will be expected carry out projects from end-to-end and build up a trusted relationship with both the team and our clients.

Key role requirements to include:

• Communication with clients from initial contact to project handover
• Managing projects correctly within the job system
• Problem solving skills and idea generation
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design
• Collaborative skills with clients, partners, your team and suppliers
• The ability to manage workloads to meet daily and weekly deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and a ‘flair’ for graphic design
• The ability to work on multiple projects within an extremely fast-paced environment
• Helping in all areas of the business when required

Beneficial (but not essential) experience would include:

• The ability to design, build and develop on the WordPress platform
• An understanding of the technical aspects of WordPress CMS and backend systems
• Experience with setting up website hosting, including emails, control panel and databases
• An understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO)
• Social media setup and management experience
• Site content writing skills and understanding
• Digital marketing / content creation experience

Due to the unique way we build our websites, training will be provided on our professional WordPress framework development methods. We do not use templates however previous experience of using templates will remain helpful to site understanding and WordPress structure and operation. Training will also be offered on Search Engine Optimisation methods.

Salary: Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
