Job Description

Envelopes Ltd are looking for a multi-skilled individual for this adaptable role as a Junior IT technician and warehouse operative to join our team in Newark.

This dual role will mean that no day is the same. You will spend your working day either troubleshooting IT issues within the business or assisting in the warehouse packing and shipping orders.

Set up over 20 years ago, we have grown from a small envelope over printer company based at home to a vibrant, expanding and diverse business, having one of the largest stocked ranges of envelopes and postal packaging in the UK.

JUNIOR IT TECHNICIAN & WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Key responsibilities for this position:

IT

· Assist in the overall day to day support of the IT department.

  • Plan updates and fixes when most convenient for the business, assist the head of IT to develop a schedule.
  • Assist the Head of IT with processes and standards for the selection, implementation, and support of systems.
  • Be available to assist other departments in troubleshoot IT issues.
  • Maintain, upgrade & troubleshoot issues with laptops, desktops & servers with the assistance of 3rd party vendors if needed.

WAREHOUSE

· Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials

· Packing and shipping/shipping orders

· Organizing, replacing, and retrieving stock

· Toro, Fork truck operator (if licensed).

· Picking up orders from picking notes

· Packaging orders in appropriate shipping boxes.

TEAM

· Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and growing team.

· Actively engage with team communications - participate in team meetings and briefs, appraisals and company communications.

· Great communication skills, escalating issues to the appropriate line manager and in the correct manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme

Work Location: In person
