Job Description
Junior Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer
Commutable from Preston, Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, Rochdale
Salary up to 30-35k
KPS Selection are currently working with a leading international manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Junior Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer. Working as part of a team of engineers. You will oversee manufacturing plans and procedures in order to improve to continuously improve manufacturing methods.
Duties will include
Ability to interpret complex manufacturing drawings
Design and Modify tooling for manufacturing
Develop, manufacture, integration and testing of components and systems
Working with various metals including chromium, nickel, cadmium, steel
Skills/Experience
Proactive can-do attitude
2-5 years relevant experience
Experience of working with various metals
Time Served
Degree educated would be an advantage.
Health and Safety Experience
Good communication, Attention to detail and organisation skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
