Overview of the Process Engineer
2fawcett are recruiting for a Process Engineer / Production Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated engineer to join a new role in the company with progression. You will play a vital role in the Companies manufacturing / production.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic hands-on production / process engineer capable of problem solving, rectifying existing tooling as well as planning and implementing new processes and tooling into production.
Responsibilities of the Process engineer
· The engineer will work closely with quality to determine the root cause of any manufacturing issues and perform any required corrections to processes or tooling.
· The engineer will plan, design and, if required due to toolroom workload, make new production tooling.
· It is important that the engineer is hands-on and is comfortable in both the workshop and office environments.
· The role is an entry level position with scope to progress depending on performance.
Requirements of the Process Engineer
· Autocad experience essential.
· Manual machining experience essential.
· Metal processing experience preferred (aluminium cutting, punching, drilling) although not essential.
· Pneumatics preferable but not essential.
