A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Junior UI/UX Web Developer to accelerate their career and join a fast-growing fintech company based in the historic City of Cambridge. This company is making advances in digital solutions for Financial Service providers and helping to reshape the market.

Joining this start-up will see you surrounded by experts in Investment Banking and Finance, along with a team of brilliant Developers. You will be working on Front End Web Development, building user interfaces, and using modern frameworks like AngularJS and MVC.

Location: Cambridge, UK – hybrid working

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Requirements for Junior UI/UX Web Developer:

• Degree from a top university with a 2.1 or above within a relevant area
• UI/UX development skills
• 1+ years of commercial experience within a modern framework such as Angular or React
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Natural ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies
• It would be beneficial to have either worked within Financial Services or have any cloud experience
• Any exposure to MVC, AngularJS, Angular and Angular Material would also be helpful- as would experience with tools such as Git and Azure DevOps

Responsibilities for Junior UI/UX Web Developer:

• The role will be to assist in developing new interfaces + updating existing user interfaces.
• Consolidating and updating the frameworks
• Building user interfaces and aligning with the development and business teams
