Junior Web Developer / Designer

About Us

Red Technology, a leading ecommerce solutions provider, is looking for a Junior Web Developer / Designer to join our digital services team.

The Role

Working with ecommerce technical consultants and a digital project manager to deliver wireframes, design and responsive ecommerce website templates with good quality HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS and Javascript/JQuery.

Technical Skills

• Wireframing tools e.g. Axure
• Web Design
• Design tools e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Fireworks, Affinity
• Solid experience writing HTML5 / CSS3
• Knowledge of CSS Pre-Processors e.g. SASS/SCSS
• Bootstrap
• JavaScript/JQuery
• CMS experience e.g. Wordpress, Drupal

About you

• Minimum 1 years’ experience
• Relevant qualifications from university or other

• Ability to deal with planning deadlines and multi-tasking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly build credible good relationships with managers, colleagues and customers

Red operates a hybrid home/office working environment, with 2 days per week at home.

This will become a strategically important role within Red and as such has excellent career prospects for a talented and ambitious individual.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
