Kitchen Assistant

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to develop yourself within an experienced team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be an important contributor in delivering bakery performance – measured across safety, market-leading quality and cost control. Experience is not necessary as you will be taught all aspects of in house processes.

You can find our pies in shops, pubs and restaurants throughout the UK, including Fortnum & Mason of Piccadilly. Pies by Post can be bought online and are delivered throughout the UK mainland.

Your job:

• Working within the kitchen team
• Making multiple fillings, and pies
• Cleaning and servicing bakery equipment
• Following house rules and critical control point procedures
• Hours typically fall within 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday

• Hands on, strong attention to detail
• Love food and love to take pride in your work
• You take responsibility and are a self starter
• A good team player, collaborative and enjoyable to work with
• Computer literate
