A very exciting opportunity has arisen at our site in Spalding for a Kitchen Assistant to assist in the day to day functions of the smooth running of the Development Kitchen. This opportunity will provide a great starting point for individuals to really get their teeth stuck into a development kitchen within a global market leader in fresh food manufacturing.

DUTIES

• Assisting Chef and Development Team – weighing up recipes, sample making, and printing labels and templates as required. Also liaising with couriers to book sample delivery.
• Shop, as required by the Chef and NPD team, for ingredients/products to support development, customer visits and benchmarking.
• Ensure that all raw materials/products/ingredients are labelled, stored in line with Best Practice and that stock is rotated accordingly
• Ensure that all fridges, freezers and the walk-in fridge are kept clean, tidy and well organised. Ensure that the NPD team assist in clearing out the walk-in fridge weekly, contacting other departments as required
