Kitchen Porter – The Glengower, Aberystwyth, SY23 2DH

Employment: Full or Part-time hours available – will include evenings & weekends

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour plus tips (on average an additional £1.45 per/hr) plus excellent company discounts and benefits

The Glengower is a lively and popular pub with 16 rooms situated on the stunning seafront in Aberystwyth. It is part ofthe Stange & Co pub group. Stange & Co are an expanding family company that puts its teams first. We realise it’s our teams and their hard work that make our pubs as successful as they are and we are now looking for a reliable kitchen porter to join and further strengthen the kitchen team.

What we’re looking for:

A hardworking, punctual and reliable person, who is happy to muck in and help the team where needed. We have full pr part time hours available but the position will cover a variety of day and evening shifts, so flexibility is a must.

Main responsibilities include:

• Washing of crockery & utensils
• Keeping kitchen areas and equipment clean and sanitized
• Supporting the kitchen team

Previous experience in a similar position is very much preferred, but as long as you’ve got the right attitude and are willing to work hard, we’ll happily show you the ropes and give you all the training you’ll need to do the job.
