We are excited to announce that The Admiral Woods, our brand new bar located in the heart of the city, is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and assisting the chefs with prep work.
Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, pots, and pans
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
- Assisting the chefs with prep work, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients
- Ensuring food hygiene standards are met at all times
- Helping with deliveries and storage of supplies
- Any other duties as required by the Head Chef
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Good communication and team working skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- A positive and can-do attitude
Salary:
- Pay will be minimum £10.50 or more depending on experience
