Proclinical are recruiting a Lab Assistant for a specialised biotech client. This role is based in Cambridge for a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Complete laboratory tests to produce specific data to support numerous investigations.

Perform routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies.

Participate and assist with animal related procedures.

Create and maintain records and associated experimental results in electronic and physical databases
-
Prepare specimens and samples.

Monitors and prepares orders to ensure efficient functioning of the laboratory.

Exercises knowledge of biosafety safety concerns when working with human samples.
-
Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in supporting with the planning, problem analysis, handling and delivering wet lab experiments

A background in biology or other life science area.

The capability and motivation to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this data to solve methodological problems.

Confidence in the use technical equipment.

Time management skills to work on numerous projects.
