Job Description

SUMMARY

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a part of the ACM Global Laboratories Biomarkers team as a key contributor to the global clinical trial testing services offered by ACM. As a Laboratory Scientist, you will conduct ELISA, Multiplexing, and flow cytometry testing, to provide critical results for participants across several phases of clinical trials.

STATUS: Full time (other working patterns will be considered)

LOCATION: On-site

DEPARTMENT: Laboratory

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday; days

ATTRIBUTES:

  • BSc in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
  • Laboratory experience in a clinical setting is desirable but not required.
  • Background in practical and / or theoretical blood sciences is desirable.
  • Appreciation for working in a regulatory environment (experience working to GCP is desirable)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical: Setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform sample analysis using manual and automated instrumentation. Contribute to revision of section specific SOPs in conjunction with other laboratory sections.

Quality: Assist with any quality documentation (Quality Issue, CAPA, deviation and change control) as appropriate within the required timeframes.Participate in all activities that seek to ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and accreditation schemes (e.g. CAP). Participate in internal and external quality assessment activities as required.

Maintenance: Participate fully in the general housekeeping of the laboratory, including procurement, stock check and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. Assist in instrument and method validations where required. Assist in other operational areas where required (e.g. Sample Management, Logistics).
