We are currently seeking a Cathedral Librarian to join our Visitor Engagement team in one of the most iconic buildings in the world, St Paul’s Cathedral.
This exciting role as a Cathedral Librarian will oversee day to day management of the library collection: access control, acquisition and disposal, cataloguing, overseeing remedial and environmental conservation, providing a reader and enquiry service, researching bibliographic displays and contributing to workshops, study days and other engagement programming.
The Cathedral Librarian is embedded within the Collections Department, led by the Head of Collections and composed of an Archivist, Collections Community Engagement Manager and Volunteers.
The department collectively manages the use and care of the cathedral historic contents and is part of the Visitor Engagement Directorate.
