Lighting Artist

mustardFX are helping a new independent game studio based in South East of England find their new Lighting Artist with a cinematic eye to deliver and collaborate on all lighting setups for cinematic and gameplay while working on original IP and pre-production of a major new project for a AAA publisher.

As the studios Lighting Artist you'll report to the Lead Lighting Artist while delivering high-quality lighting solutions and work with producers and the lighting lead to ensure a realistic project scope.

You'll also be required to:

Follow the studio guidance for lighting and shading and maintain best practices
Create or oversee lighting work, both in studio and outsourced
Create well written lighting documentation where required

As the perfect candidate you'll have previous experience as a Lighting Artist, 2+ years games industry or similar experience, comfortable presenting lighting work and shipped at least one project throughout development cycle on console or PC.
