LIVE EVENTS AND BOOKING MANAGER

For this very important position of LIVE EVENTS AND BOOKING MANAGER at Night & Day Cafe, we are looking for a highly motivated, responsible and creative individual to join our in-house promotions team.

Duties will include:

Programming and promoting great shows that are perfect for the venue.

Using digital marketing, updating the website and listings

Commissioning and arranging distribution of artwork, print and digital media

Managing data collection, ticket sales, box office and guestlists.

Providing senior management with up to date weekly reports of booking activity and venue performance

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience and success marketing and promoting live music events either by managing in-house programmes or as an independent promotor
• A good knowledge and understanding of the local music scene and of reputable up and coming acts at both national and international level
• Be able to spot music and customer trends and react accordingly
• Adept in contract negotiation, advancing shows and dealing with agents, artists and external promotors
• The ability and awareness to recognise the right event for the venue - promoting it to the correct target audience and ensuring that the venue is busy with a credible appeal
• Appreciation of the 24/7 nature of the business.
