Job Specification

The Job You’ll Do;

  • The management of direct reports including but limited to, recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition and training and development.
  • The allocation and prioritisation of resources to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinating and overseeing daily operations and workflow.
  • Ensuring delivery On Time and In Full (OTIF) to internal and external customers.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • The prioritisation and close out of routine activities including but not limited to; ZIP audits, training compliance, layered audits, skill development and housekeeping audits.
  • The achievement of KPI’s (including but not limited to; Driver safety standards, Transport, Delivery, Stock movement).
  • Utilising SAP/MRP and systems to accurately monitor and manage stock control and material flow.
  • Compiling and reporting management information for example, stock levels and customer deliveries.

About You;

  • Have a professional and consistent approach to work.
  • Be able to prioritise workload based on business demand.
  • Have demonstrable experience of leading a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Be able to follow instructions and work autonomously.
  • Hold a valid counterbalance FLT license.
  • Hold a level 3 qualification in leadership and management or equivalent.
