Machine Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists within our Technical Development department for a Machine Design Engineer who has proven experience with Autodesk Inventor and producing purpose-built automation machinery for accurate assembly and packaging.

The role of Design Engineer:

Designing of purpose-built machinery and modifications to existing equipment:

• Accurate mechanical assemblies.
• Structure and Guarding.

Detailing of manufacturing drawings:

• Tooling engineering drawings.
• Fabrication and sheet work drawings.

Project management:

• Bill of Materials.
• Assistance in compilation of Technical manuals.

The successful candidate:

• Must have previous experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
• Purpose built machinery
• Ideally, hold an engineering or design engineering qualification.

Salary:

Up to £45,000.

Shift:

Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17.00 Friday 8.30 to 16.00.
