Our rapid growth means that we currently operate from six locations - our main head office in Swadlincote in the East Midlands, Tipton in the West Midlands, Nottingham, Canvey Island, Bristol, and Glasgow.

Position:

Duties and Responsibilities

• To operate a variety of machines including over head cranes, tube punch machines in order to produce a range of various pre galvanised fencing posts.

• Stack and band the products into specified quantities.

• Observe machine operations and adjust accordingly.

• Completion of all production documentation.

• Follow all operating instructions to ensure machine runs consistently.

Requirements:

Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

• Experience of working with Steel in a manufacturing Environment.

• Capable of reading and understanding Engineering drawings.

• Good numeracy and literacy Skills.

• Ability to always remain professional.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• High Attention to detail.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Self-Motivator, ability to demonstrate initiative.

• Ability to plan, Organise and Prioritise , and work to tight deadlines.

• Flexible approach to working hours, as some additional hours and weekend work may be required

Hourly Rate

£11 per hour rising to £12 after successful completion of your probation period

Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:30

Friday 07:00 - 14:00
