Job Description

We are looking for machine operators as part of our cure in place pipe repair value stream to produce products for our strong order book. We are in the process of installing new equipment to meet growing demand and require expanding our successful teams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operation of all machinery in accordance with instructions to achieve maximum output and efficiency at the highest quality levels.
  • Loading of all raw materials into machines as required
  • Setting up and changing over of product types on machines.
  • Removal of finished rolls from machines and the accurate recording of roll data including roll number, length and any such information as required.
  • Weighing, wrapping, and ticketing of all rolls.
  • Highlight any concerns with machinery and use company S-Tag process for improvement suggestions.
  • To record such quality information as required, take samples for Quality Control, and ensure that products meet the company and customer quality standards and the requirements of ISO 9001 are achieved, reporting any problems to the Team Leader or relevant person.
  • Ensure your production area is kept clean and tidy.
  • To work always in a safe manner and follow company and statutory safety procedures.
  • To observe company procedures, instructions, and rules.
  • To undertake any other appropriate duties.

This is a shift-based role, working on a pattern of day and night shift between Sunday and Friday on 12-hour shifts. You will be expected to be able to travel to Tayport to start your shift independently of public transport.
