Machine Operator/Setter - Port Talbot - £12.01 plus shift allowance
Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a new role?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company who are experiencing significant growth at their site based in Port Talbot.
Hourly Rate: Up to £12.01 per hour, plus shift allowance
Location: Port Talbot
Hours of work: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, must be prepared to work a night shift if required (10pm - 6am)
Role responsibilities:

Setting and operating a variety of machinery to include packaging machinery.

Conducting Changeovers

Use of measuring equipment, record calibrations and measurements

Monitor production to ensure maximum output.

Work to standard operating procedures

Work to the stringent Health and Safety procedures whilst ensuring quality standards are met.
The successful candidate:
-
A proven track record working in a Machine Operating role.
-
Previous experience setting and making adjustments on machinery in line with customer specifications.

Excellent attention to detail
-
Previous experience working with tooling, conducting changeovers, diameters, measuring equipment.

Ability to work to written instructions and standard operating procedures.
