Maintenance Planner

J&K Coaches LTD continued growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner within our Moneymore Depot. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance planner to join our team in our commitment to providing a high standard of service for our customers.

As a Transport Maintenance planner, you will be required to ensure the safe and effective operation of our fleet of vehicles, you will need to collaborate closely with the transport managers. Your top priorities will be organising vehicle breakdown repairs, planning maintenance inspections, and rectifying daily defects.

Key roles/ responsibilities

This role will support a wide variety of duties but not limited to:

· Plan and schedule defect and repair work.

· Ensure maintenance and compliance activities are issued and completed.

· Allocate work to the in-house mechanics and able to subcontract work when necessary.

· Work closely with transport planners to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

· Sourcing and purchasing parts.

· Ensure the system is kept updated with progress and records on planned works.

• Work together with the Transport Team to develop and improve systems.

Essential Criteria

• Office administration.
• Good Organisational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in maintenance planning essential.
