Management Accountant
Sunflex is the UK leading design, manufacture and distributor of ready-made window furnishings including curtain poles, tracks and blinds to the retail market. Sunflex has recently been acquired by Dunelm Group Plc.
We are looking for an experienced induvial to join the team and assist with the day to day running of the finance function.
Duties:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Manage the month end process including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Attend monthly management meeting to report back to parent company.
- Work closely with the finance team at Head Office and report to multiple line reports.
- Forecasting and budget preparation
- Weekly Cashflow forecasting and reporting back to parent company.
- Monitor and report on monthly KPI’s, analysis and business performance.KPIs are still under development so an opportunity to design and implement new KPIs as required.
- Provision of accurate and relevant information to senior managers to improve quality of decision making.
- Manage staff and provide cover for Accounts team, including payroll, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivables
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Support and provide information as requested by parent company.
Requirements:
- Be a part or qualified accountant/QBE.
- Confident and have good communication and presenting skills.
- Be expected to work to the highest of standards.
- Work as part of a team
- Group experience an advantage.
- ERP experience and confident.
- Good understanding of excel (important)
