We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our manufacturing site in Basingstoke.
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm, alternating weekly.
The role:
As Manufacturing Technician, you will operate manufacturing plant in the FMU Key duties and responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of billets and pieces parts onto CNC Machining Centres
- Operating CNC equipment to product parts as assigned.
- Monitoring machines to detect equipment or process errors.
- Maintaining machines and equipment.
- Monitoring quality of components using CMM inspection
- Completing production documentation, written and electronic.
What are we looking for?
As Manufacturing Technician, you will have the following:
- Previous experience in CNC milling
- Experience of operating multi pallet machinery
- A keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Good level of manual dexterity
- Committed to a high level of quality workmanship.
- Positive, flexible attitude to work
- Basic level of IT skills
- Ability to follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions.
