Brakes have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Activation Executive to join the merchandising team on a full-time permanent basis who will report to the Senior Category Manager. This role is Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week, and we are offering a remote working contract with occasional travel to our Head Office in Ashford.
It will be your responsibility to take on all supplier brand activation including print and telesales and digital planning activation across all categories. You will also be supporting the wider team across Alcohol, Grocery, and Impulse on the day to day running of the category activities, including range, promotions and marketing.

About you:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Marketing or Sales role, looking to join a global organisation for the next step in their career. You will have a relevant qualification such as bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or a CIM qualification and previous experience in in-print, online and sales marketing techniques. You will be proficient in the use of MS Office and have a creative mindset and experience of using software such as Adobe, Photoshop or Canva with strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform. Its highly desirable that the successful candidate have a knowledge and understanding of social algorithms and search engine optimisations and data analysis tools like Google Analytics. This role is suitable for someone who has the enthusiasm and passion to create consumer driven, dynamic, show stopping content and digital campaigns and someone who is a team player with a willingness to get involved in a range of activities.
