About the College

• Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role

The MC Crew – IT Technician will require numerous responsibilities including the management, configuration, and reimaging of our student laptop MC Click fleet, ready for distribution during enrolment 2023/24. Participating with the enrolment project to ensure that all eligible students receive a laptop as part of their enrolment is also a key responsibility of this role.

The successful candidate will:

• Grade C or above in Maths or English (or equivalent) – Essential
• To hold a Level 2 Certificate in an IT related subject or be willing to work towards within an agreed timescale.
• Experience of Customer Service
• To have good time management, administrative and organisational skills.
