Medical Receptionist

We are a busy, well-established Ophthalmology practice in downtown San Mateo and we are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist. Epic experience is preferred but we are willing to train if you have strong medical office experience.

Some of the duties to be performed:

• Greeting & assisting patients with registration and scheduling follow up appointments
• Collecting insurance and demographic information
• Collecting payments and co-pay
• Explaining insurance benefits and allowances

This is a Full-Time position, 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday thru Friday. We offer Kaiser medical, Delta dental, 401K and an awesome work environment.

Ideal candidates have experience as a medical scheduler, medical assistant, medical office, medical front desk, patient service representative, and/or medical administrative assistant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
