The Role

Investis Digital’s Creative Content offering is recognised as one of the most significant, thorough and creatively brilliant producers of corporate communication in the industry; our approach ensures a collaborative and combined proposition, maximizing ROI and consistency across entire digital estates.

As our Motion Designer, you will deliver creatively brilliant motion graphics and animation projects; providing delivery assistance and support, actual delivery of projects from concept to completion, as well as inspiration and technical advice to our growing Creative Content offering, of which animation is a significant part. Reporting to our Director of Film and Animation, you will also work closely with the Senior Motion Designer, Producers, freelance Producers and the wider Investis Digital team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide the Film and Animation team with a great set of hands-on design, illustration and typographic skills and conceptual flare, with the ability to deliver a number of visual styles.
• Work as part of a team to explore briefs / generate ideas in a constructive and positive way.
• Assist with the development, preparation and delivery of creative proposals and pitches, generating style frames, storyboards, and example animation.
• Collaborate with creative teams to deliver creative programmes or projects as a team member, but also with initiative and autonomy to carry a project forward.
• Work on a number of projects in parallel, working with other members of the team, specialist partners and freelance staff.
• Encourage and support other members of the team in their understanding and use of motion graphics / animation and to work with them as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other motion graphics / design / animation professionals, as well as the Producers.
• Keep on top of the latest developments in the motion graphics / animation sector.
• Training, improving, growing!

About You

• Previous relevant experience in house/freelance
• A good understanding of the full life-cycle of design, digital and film projects from creative to technical delivery
• Experience in creation of social media content
• Expert in After Effects and experience with Cinema4D
• Expert in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of and ability to work with the entire Adobe suite
• Experience of green screen compositing / keying
• A keen interest in film-making and digital communications
