Planet Doughnut are a family run doughnut manufacturer based in Shrewsbury but now delivering doughnuts to retailers and our own shops throughout the West Midlands, Cheshire and Wales.

Job description

Planet Doughnut are seeking part time delivery drivers with an immediate start available to deliver trays and boxes doughnuts from our Battlefield bakery to stores and corporate clients across England & Wales.

You must be confident in driving Long wheel based Sprinter Freezer vans

Working times

Starting times are normally 4am or 5am with runs averaging 8 hours. The days are to be confirmed but the contract would be zero hours initially and cover for runs where required.

Might suit someone who is already employed or just wants a day or two a week.

Job Role

• To deliver doughnuts to stores and corporate clients across the Midlands, Cheshire etc.
• Ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism are maintained at all times.
• Ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed
• Meeting deadlines and time keeping
• Vehicle checking and loading responsibilities
• Working within the health and safety guidelines.

Key skills and experience

• You MUST hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 3 points (no DR’s)
• Able to work in a professional and polite manner.
• Good communication skills.

Hourly rate and hours

We can offer a zero hour contract but averaging 20 hours per week with some overtime on busier weeks/holiday cover.
