Continental Shift / 4on 4off Days 0700 - 1900 / Nights 1900 - 0700

This role is for a Multi-Skilled Engineer based at our Value Added Thetford site.

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be key in ensuring the consistent smooth running of factory machinery including planned maintenance and reactive repairs, along with continually looking for ways to improve future processes.

• Performing reactive breakdown repairs.
• Carrying our planned preventative maintenance
• Recording all documentation accurately and on time.
• Improving equipment reliability, stamping out recurring faults.
• Ensuring “audit ready” records are kept.

• Experience within a multi skilled maintenance environment, preferably within food manufacturing but not essential.
• Good problem-solving mindset
• Team player and promotes a team approach to problem solving
• Work collaboratively to achieve project/company goals
• Good communicator written/ verbal
• Ability to work under pressure
• Organised and able to multi-task
• Proactive in approach with a “can do attitude

Experience / Qualifications Required:

• Previous experience as a multi-disciplined Engineer.
• Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial.

• Educated to minimum HNC in Engineering / a recognised Multi-skilled Engineering apprenticeship.
