Shift Pattern: Sun-Thurs 18:00-02:00
This is a role which involves working nightshift in a warehouse focused role. There is a mixture of both warehouse and admin related tasks. There will also be an element of driving involved as and when required
Responsibilities:
- Working in a busy warehouse environment you will work in all areas of the operation.
- Unloading, receiving, sorting, picking orders
- Carry out shift handovers and brief team members as required.
- Manage and assist the inspection of all deliveries and ensure they are recorded correctly on the business operational systems.
- Ensuring the safe unloading / loading of product from vehicles.
- Ensuring the despatch of all jobs.
- Picking customers’ orders from one unit to a trailer load.
- Ensure trunks are ready to depart on time.
- Processing customer returns, ensuring accuracy and the product is correctly located to the relevant locations and returned to them.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept to a clean standard at all times
- Sorting driver paperwork and finalising routes on EPOD system
- Reporting discrepancies to customers
- Problem solving when issues occur like late vehicles, call off’s etc
Essential Skills
- Full UK Driving License
- Forklift Operating Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Computer skills
