About us
TLC Space is an independent occupational therapy clinic based in Grayshott, Hampshire. We work with children and young people who have sensory and physical needs. We are a team of occupational therapists and work in clinic, in schools and parental homes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. The post will combine clinical and administrative support roles. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant you will work as a valued member of the Occupational Therapy Team supporting the Occupational Therapy practitioners and the team in both the clinical implementation of assessments, as well as group and individual interventions. Sensory Integration Theory, underpin the Occupational Therapy team's practice.
In addition, the therapy assistant will assist with clinically related duties that includes monitoring and responding to incoming emails and phone calls and work with the Practice Manager to assist caseload administration and contributing to social media relating to the clinic and its work.
The successful candidate must have excellent engagement and communication skills, a sense of fun and a professional and innovative approach to practice. You will need to demonstrate that you can work independently as well as under direction, understand the concept of using activity to engage young people in therapy, as well as having skills and experience in project/event leadership or facilitation and communicate with parents and professionals involved.
You will be expected to work within the clinic space alongside the team for 37 hours a week. You will receive regular supervision and learning opportunities to develop your skills. Part-time hours can be considered as well as term-time work.
