Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are looking for weekend and after school support with our thirteen year old daughter, who has a physical disability. She is a happy, fun loving, social girl, who communicates well and attends a mainstream secondary school. Our daughter has a form of cerebral palsy, which predominantly effects her ability to walk. She gets around with walking sticks indoors and a wheelchair for longer distances.

The ideal candidate will either have a background in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and experience with implementing these programmes. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about helping children with special needs reach their potential.

Looking for 4-6 hrs per week term time and possibility of extra hours during school holidays. Ideal times: Saturday and/or Sundays 3-5 pm with additional hours 2 days after school 4:15-6:15 pm
