On-Site Content Writer

OVERVIEW:

As an On-Site Content Writer you will be responsible for creating content for Gymshark's websites, inclusive of transactional and informative content. You will be responsible for researching, planning and creating SEO led content, as well as ensuring continuous improving performance in search results through regular SEO focused content creation. There will be frequent analysis of performance data, which is then used to inform future content decisions and assist Managers in reviewing the performance of Gymshark's websites.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Creating content for Gymshark's websites, including planning, research, creation, optimisation and reporting.
• Completing keyword research, content optimisation and/or creation and meta data creation to support SEO growth across our transactional stores.
• Monitoring and reporting on keyword visibility and performance across regions.
• Undertaking weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on core SEO & content metrics against KPIs.
• Attending and contributing to internal meetings to help define the most relevant and effective strategies and best SEO practice for Gymshark.
• Ensuring all reporting and analysis is focused on making actionable insights for the SEO team, wider Marketing team and Senior Management.
• Adopting a test and learn mentality, ensuring the strategy is constantly evolving and improving our content.
• Building strong and long-lasting relationships with key partners.
• Management and upkeep of third-party SEO & Content tools where relevant.
• Ensuring we are expanding our regional SEO content strategies in line with business and team objectives.
• Working alongside other Marketing channels to collaborate and align on marketing strategies.
• Staying on top of industry trends and news to ensure continuous professional and personal growth.
• Managing task lists, understanding priorities, and providing timely feedback on risk of tasks not being completed and wider impact they may have.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

• Previous content writing experience, including store copy, blog copy, product copy and creative copy.
• Experience creating informational content, including: blog/article/editorial creation.
• Experience in writing and communicating to a variety of audiences with a focused voice.
• Experience of using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Keyword Planner
• Confident in presenting findings to the team
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of audiences
• Ability to analyse data and report on findings
• Competent with Excel
• A passion for all things digital and a desire to test new tactics and keep up to date with industry changes

WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:

• Experience using core SEO tools (including but not limited to Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush, WebRanking)
• An understanding of the content requirements across the digital spectrum
• An understanding and appreciation for the wider marketing funnel and how channels work together for success.

Language Expertise is required.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
