Operations Clerk - Maternity Cover (35 hours) - Days

We are currently hiring for an Operations Clerk based in one of our busy hubs in Livingston, 35 hours per a week, Monday to Friday, between 13:00 – 20:30.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop a good understanding of the workings of the operation to ensure service levels are achieved.
• HV freight sortation
• Driver Brief with scanners
• Taking and managing customer calls
• Complete day to day admin tasks
• Basic timesheet inputting
• Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required in the context of the job role, or as instructed by the Site/OPs Manager.

Experience & Skills required:

• Experience with statistical analysis and data processing
• Administration
• Good knowledge of all computer systems relevant to the operation
• Excellent verbal and written communication is appropriate and in line with Data Protection Regulations.
• The right candidate must have excellent multi-tasking skills, work well under pressure
• Experience working within the transportation or logistics industry is beneficial with knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
