NSEC in partnership with North Somerset Council is responsible for collecting recycling and waste from over 90,000 homes and commercial businesses across North Somerset, along with managing Household Waste Recycling Centres at Backwell, Portishead and Weston.

We are looking for a dedicated Trainee / Supervisor to lead recycling & waste collection teams. The successful candidate, reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor, will be responsible for managing the teams and colleagues to deliver the safe, efficient and effective municipal waste collection and operational services on behalf of North Somerset Council.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven track record in a waste or logistics supervision/management environment

• Excellent people management skills

• Appropriate management qualification or equivalent previous experience to achieve such a qualification
