Overseas Nanny with Separate Accommodation

Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity to live and work in Jersey – this could be the role for you! 2 related families are looking for a nanny share – 1 baby at a time, with separate nanny accommodation provided!

Job Summary: This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in Jersey for two lovely down to earth families who are brother and sister related. Both families are expecting a new-born baby in April 2023 and are looking for a nanny who can equally split their time between both families. You will be caring for 1 baby at a time, rotating between the 2 households on a weekly basis – for example, 1-week 2/3 days with one family and vice versa for the following week. The positions will be a mix of both shared and sole charge so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment with Mum. Both Dads work full-time.

The nanny will be employed directly though their family office, therefore you will have 1 contract for ease. Both families are very easy going and will be completely respectful of the nannie’s time and working pattern for the other family.

Accommodation: The family are happy to provide separate accommodation for the nanny and will look to find this asap. If the role begins prior to finding suitable accommodation, then the family are happy to provide live-in accommodation for the first few weeks/months.

General duties:

• All typical nanny duties – shared & sole charge
• Age-appropriate activities
• Feeding
• Nappy changes
• Putting babies down for naps
• Establishing good routine
• Light nursery duties (both families employ part-time housekeepers) – including child’s laundry and tidying up after the children

Candidate requirements:

• The families are looking for someone who is fun and outgoing, they are really friendly families and are looking to welcome their new nanny
• Must be a confident driver – the family can provide a car
• Must be dog friendly as both families have 1 dog each
• Must have up to date first aid, DBS check & good checkable references
