Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a P6 Planner, working on our DCWW Water Network Alliance contract based in Swansea, covering South Wales.

This could mean splitting your time, based on business need between site, the office and home. Your contract location will remain as your place of work. Flexibility and hybrid working is managed on a case-by-case basis so please don’t be afraid to ask in your interview about the flexibility on offer.

As the P6 Planner you will be part of our Pre-Construction and Construction teams. Responsible for managing the overall AMP7 programme from site investigation, design, through the tender process and construction period.

The WNA is an alliance contract with DCWW and MWS responsible for delivering the Capital programme for AMP7

As the Planning & Pre-Construction Manager your duties & responsibilities will be:

• Updating the master P6 programme
• Production of Tender and Construction Programmes complying with NEC Form of Contract
• Updates to Construction Programmes
• Production of progress reports taken from current programme
• Chairing of Pre- Construction Collaboration Meetings, managing the Action Log and prompting the stakeholders of their actions
• Contacting stakeholders to close out outstanding actions in order to prevent programme slippage

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• Primavera P6
• Microsoft Project
• Advanced Excel Skills - production of graphs and tables
• NEC Contract, Accepted Programmes including Early Warnings and Compensation Events
• Ability to read drawings and create a programme
• Collaboration skills in order to work closely with the Estimator, Commercial Team and Project Managers
