Inspired by the famous bakeries in London, Brick Lane Bagel Co. was founded by father and son Stuart and Elliott Hearne. Behind the food-to-go menu is a nostalgic mix of Irish salt beef brisket, oak-smoked salmon, and our brand signatures. Featuring a wide array of fillings, ingredients are sourced from some of the finest suppliers of food in the country.

Our main Objective is to offer amazing, mouth watering food, fresh and fast! while giving every customer a 10/10 customer service experience!

You will be provided with in house practical training, which will follow a 3 month probation period, and providing you are what you say on the tin, and the job role fits you and the team, you will be offered a permanent role.

Required availability & shift patterns: As a part timer you will need to be fully flexible on the weekends. Your earliest start time will be 10:00AM and your latest finish time would be 17:30PM. This would not necessarily be your shift, but your shift will be within these hours.

Hours offered: Minimum of 5hours, with the possibility of more hours if you are needed. This is a 0 hour contract, but it will be running by 3 monthly. each 3 month your position will be reviewed and extended dependant on circumstances.

Your Key Responsibilities as a team member will include:

• Assisting in opening and closing the store along side a manager
• Preparing fresh food daily ( Example: making sandwich fillings from scratch, making salad mixes, preparing cheese)
• Cooking and serving meat to appropriate temperatures
• Preparing food from our menu, to our high standards and nothing less!
• General Cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, cleaning the staff toilet, washing up & cleaning sides to our high standards)
• Following Deeper Cleaning Schedules, for example: Deep cleaning of our equipment, ie: salamander, panini press/griddle, fridges ect.
• Cleaning and clearing tables
• Stocking our drinks fridge and snack stand
• Serving and restocking our cakes/deli fridge
• Ensuring throughout the store, we are always achieving high standards of food safety and hygiene practises/regulations.
• Using our till system, handling cash, using a card system, serving customers with a smile and providing excellent customer service
• Be brilliantly accurate at remembering orders to ensure great team communication, to get our customers food to them as quick as we can!
• Ensuring the FIFO (first in first out) method is always achieved with stock rotation.
