JOB TITLE: Accountant/Payroll Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
RESPONSIBLE TO: Human Resources Director
HOURS: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
SUMMARY:
The Payroll Specialist position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day payroll and accounting functions.
Qualifications
· Must possess personal qualities of integrity, respect for others, good judgment, and good communication skills/ both verbal and written
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Demonstrates initiative and self-direction
· Strong time management skills
· Ability to identify errors and solve problems
· Attention to detail and accuracy of work
· Able to prepare, review and process payroll and financial statements
EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
· Minimum 5+ years of payroll processing experience required
· Required 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience
· Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
· Experience with QuickBooks preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Software

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
