We are a leading hospitality group with several brand names, and we are currently seeking a Personal Assistant / aspiring / skilled bookkeeper to join our team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about numbers and people who has experience working in the hospitality sector.
As our bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. You will also liaise with our executive team and external parties, including charted accountants, suppliers, and customers.
We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience using accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks. AAT Level 1 or above is not essential, and experience in the hospitality industry is desirable.
We offer flexible working arrangements, including the option for remote working and freelance. The role is part-time, 24 hours a week, with a salary pro rata and based on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks. They will also be expected to utilise AI technology to help automate our bookkeeping processes and reduce manual labour and repetitive data entry.
Experience in using cloud-based accounting software and AI technology is desirable, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute their expertise in these areas to further develop our systems and processes.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management skills, and be able to multitask and prioritise effectively. You will be able to work independently and take initiative while also being a team player. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is essential.
