Pizza Chef - live in accommodation!

We are looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our team at The Goudhurst Inn - TN17 1DX.

You will help to drive the food culture for Balfour Hospitality. The right candidate will be up for a new challenge and ready to join the kitchen team at our stunning pub and boutique hotel. We are a growing brand which is already operating in London, Kent, East Sussex and The Cotswolds. Qualities Required:

• Someone to be multi-functional, can or wants to make pizzas as well as working along side our team in the main kitchen helping to run and maintain a section
• A passion for fresh food is required and proven ability to cook modern, seasonal pub food is essential
• Positive attitude with eagerness to learn new skills and pass these on to the team.
• The ability to work under pressure with a small team
• A desire to build on the current trade levels whilst maintaining company standards
• Ability to manage stock rotation and ordering as and when required
• Maintaining the cleanliness of all food preparation and work areas
• Complying with all set out food hygiene regulations

As a member of our kitchen team, you will be a key ingredient in the success of our busy kitchen. You will take pride in preparing delicious dishes along with a team of other talented, supportive experienced chefs, driven by your love of food. You will be working with fresh, seasonal, local ingredients and will relish the chance to learn new cooking techniques and putting your ideas into our dishes.

Life in the kitchen is hectic, but exciting. You’ll need strong food preparation skills and be confident in cooking the basics. We will offer you training and support to gain your hygiene qualifications and build your knowledge of food, to be able to grow your career.

This role is offered on full-time contract and is available for an immediate start.
