Plastic Fabricator

The role of Fabricator is to carry out fabrication and final assembly of pre-test and post-test machined parts. Main duties include fabrication, installation, fitting and connection. This could be at either our Head Office in Pudsey, Leeds or the relevant customer site.

Responsibilities

· To carry out all production operations in accordance with the company Health & Safety policy, ensuring their personal safety and that of others working in their area

· Ensure all quality control and customer specific documentation has been completed to specification

· Review works instructions, drawings and special instructions, then plan installation and prepare instrumentation to ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently and with minimal lead-times

· Review and understand risk assessments and method statements

· Any other reasonable request that they are asked to do that they have received adequate instruction and training to carry out

Skills

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

· Heat/line bender and acrylic fabrication experience

· Mechanical aptitude and good math skills

· A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach

· Good communication abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.50-£14.00 per hour

Experience:

• Plastic Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
