Our company is currently hiring a skilled and motivated reactive work Plumber to become part of our team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience of at least 3 years in residential plumbing, and has a strong work ethic and solid work history. We mainly deal with temporary repair situations through insurance call outs. Must be flexible, especially in the winter months when this is our busiest time. Must be able to work confidently and happily on their own, must have a clean full driving licence and be happy driving long distances daily, as call outs can take you all over the country. The candidate must have at least a level II qualification in plumbing, ideally a level III. Salary will be reviewed after a successful 6 month probation period.

A vehicle will be provided when working and must be collected and dropped off at the unit daily, it will be the candidates responsibility to keep the vehicle clean and tidy weekly and for all tools used daily to be accounted for and returned to their storage area at the end of each day. Responsibilities:

• Understand plumbing codes and regulations.
• Complete plumbing jobs both indoors and outdoors.
• Be able to make repairs in difficult circumstances.
• Be able to work alone and with little or no supervision.
• Be knowledgeable about tools and materials used in the plumbing trade.
• Work with limited supervision from the customer.
• Be able to use a variety of tools, including hand tools and power tools such as wrenches and drills.
• Understand technology to be able to send job reports at the end of every job.
• Have the knowledge to provide a temporary or permanent fix to the call out issue.
• Be confident in gaining trace and access where needed.
• Be flexible with a sometimes constantly changing daily job sheet.
• Be available to start work at 7am from base.
• Be aware that travel to and from work is not included in daily hours.
• Be aware that the working day finishes once the last job is done (final job arrival time 16.30)
• Clean driving Licence.
• At least 3 years plumbing experience.
• Be able to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Have pride in your work environment.
• Have a polite and friendly tone with clients and customers & collegues.
