Porter

To work as a member of the Facilities Team to carry out a comprehensive range of Portering tasks at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton(UHDB).

We are looking for hard working, reliable and flexible individuals to join our team. You will carry out a wide range of Portering duties which is a 24hr/365 days a year service these roles will cover both patient and non patient duties.

The work is varied and interesting, it demands initiative and awareness. Good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team plus a flexible approach to working hours, which will include Nights, weekends and Bank Holidays which are all essential in order to meet the needs of the department.

Enhancements are paid for lates, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
