FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS
We are a family farming business with our poultry egg laying farms based on sites in Shropshire.
As a family business we operate with family values towards each of our employees.
You will be helping to care for our barn and free-range hens across our sites, under the instructions of the farm manager. Duties will include:
- 1. Perform daily welfare inspections of poultry for signs of disease or injury
- 2. Follow instructions for proper feed and water management
- 3. Collect floor eggs
- 4. Add and maintain enrichment (chicken toys, bales, straw & pecking blocks)
- 5. Manage poultry litter
- 6. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment
Successful candidates will:
- Have a positive, can-do attitude to work
- Be observant with an eye for detail
- A willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Their own transport due to location
Working hours:
- Part Time: 9am – 2.30pm
- Full Time: 7am - 4pm
Weekend work will be required.
No experience necessary, full training will be given.

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
