As a Procurement Category Director, you will play a key role and will be a member of the Global Support Functions structure. The role will have responsibility for BioScience Materials - Incoming Material for BioProcess- (e.g. Filters, Single Use System, Resin). This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Procurement – Glass, Biosciences and NPI/VE.
This is an important role which requires ability to develop sophisticated procurement strategies in alignment with business needs. Critical, high visibility and high impact senior role influencing a significant amount of spend. It will be required to operate independently, influence senior leadership globally, lead and develop teams effectively. Expectations for the role include significant contributions to the organization’s annual financial goals and objectives.
Due to the global reach of this role, it will ideally be based Belgium. Other locations (US and UK) will be considered. Flexible and remote working is available, global travel (up to 15%) may be required.
