We’re looking for a procurement specialist to join the team here at Utilita on a fixed-term contract to cover a paternity leave.

You will be part of an internal Procurement team, who are here to support managers across the business with sourcing and instructing suppliers.

What does this role involve?

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be helping the team build new supplier relationships and support contract negotiation, along with sourcing of goods and services for Utilita.

Day to day, you will;

• review requisitions and quotes to achieve the best value for the business along with considering the quality and reliability of the source;
• help with purchase order entry, maintenance and issue resolution;
• undertake market analysis to identify new potential suppliers to the business.

Who are we looking for?

You will have strong business acumen and negotiation skills, along with the ability to help prioritise and identify any potential business risks within the purchasing process.

Your collaborative style and supportive nature will allow you to fully understand stakeholder requirements and guide them throughout the process.

Experience working towards a CIPS or equivalent would be advantageous.
